RIP 2024 Riding Season

Thanks for an Epic Riding Season, You Filthy Casuals!

Well, folks, the leaves have fallen, the trails are getting muddy, and it’s about time to swap my tires for treadmills (okay, stationary bikes in the garage). As we close the chapter on another amazing riding season, I just want to say a massive THANK YOU to every single one of you who’s read the blogs, shared them, and helped make Filthy Casual MTB what it is. Whether you’re a loyal subscriber, a one-time reader, or someone who just stumbled in looking for trail data, you’ve all kept the wheels turning on this wild ride of a project. Thank you!

Now, for the exciting part: MERCH IS COMING NEXT WEEK! And let me tell you, it’s as fun and lighthearted as we are. Think shirts, coffee mugs, and even a hoodie perfect for lounging around in between riding seasons. No need to stress about limited drops—there’s plenty to go around, so grab what you like, and let’s spread the Filthy Casual vibe far and wide. I'll be adding more designs over the winter.

This season has been an absolute blast sharing trail tips, ride loops, and my love for the Boise mountain biking scene with you. Hearing your feedback, stories, and even your favorite post-ride snacks has made this such a rewarding experience. Next season is going to be even bigger and better—I’ve got big plans for more routes, more content, and even more adventures. I can’t wait to keep this momentum going and continue building something special together.

For now, as the blog slows down to monthly posts, keep in touch! I’ll be spending the off-season pedaling away in the garage (because, let’s face it, I need to get in shape for next year’s lofty goals) and sharing regular updates over on Instagram.
